Balkondesmerupakansalah satu program buatan BUMN selain kemitraan dan CSR(CorporateSocial Responsibility) yang berguna meningkatkan kualitashidupmasyarakat Indonesia. Untuk mendukung program ini, BUMNjugamembekali masing – masing Balkondes dengan BUMN sponsor.Untukdaerah Borobudur sendiri, sudah ada 20 Balkondes yang dibuatolehBUMN.
